Prince Indah, born Evans Ochieng Owino, is a musician known for his blend of traditional Luo rhythms with contemporary Afro-Rhumba and Ohangla genres.
Indah gained fame after starting his career as a backup singer for his uncle, fellow musician Emma Jalamo, and has since become a successful solo artist with several albums.
In 2016, Indah left the band to form his own group, the Malaika Ohangla Rhumba Band, which has, in the past nine years, helped him to become one of Kenya's most influential musicians.
The Indah catalogue features hits that resonate deeply with fans of vernacular music. His greatest hits include songs like Nyar Migori, Kogik Otieno, Duk Jawiro, and Osiepe.
His 2025 single Dichol stands out as a heartfelt tribute to his wife.
In 2024, President William Ruto awarded Indah with the Order of the Grand Warrior (O.G.W.) medal to honour his contribution in promoting cultural music.
